This is a caricature of my friend and fellow caricaturist, Freddy Torres. I give full credit to Jeremy Towsend (MrJert) for this idea of freddy running as mercury. His drawing was way funnier. so this piece was painted with iron stains glazed clear on the outside and a black glaze on the inside.
